Confidential: Without insurance involvement, your privacy is fully protected, with no records shared beyond our sessions.
Empowering: Together, we set the pace and focus of your therapy, without external limitations dictating how or what we explore.

The first session is all about understanding you—your experiences, goals, and what you hope to gain from therapy. We’ll explore your medical, familial, and social history to gain a deeper understanding of your identities, worldviews, and needs. Together, we’ll create a roadmap for moving forward in therapy.

EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. It is a type of therapy that focuses on helping individuals work through distressing memories from past experiences while simultaneously performing a bilateral stimulation activity.
EMDR is based on the idea that traumatic memories can become "stuck" in the brain and the bilateral stimulation helps the brain process and integrate these memories in a healthier way.
EMDR is an evidence-based treatment, meaning it has been extensively researched and shown to be effective for treating PTSD and other trauma-related conditions, such as grief and anxiety.

An EMDR certified therapist is a mental health professional who has completed advanced training and professional consultation, beyond that offered in basic EMDR training, and met additional criteria to utilize EMDR therapy.
As a Certified EMDR therapist, I specialize in helping clients resolve trauma that feels stuck. EMDR uses a structured yet gentle approach to help you process difficult memories and beliefs, freeing you to live with more clarity and peace.
I offer in person EMDR in Denver, CO, and online EMDR therapy elsewhere in Colorado as well as in Ohio and Washington DC.
